Formally trained in Adelaide, during the mid 1980s, in the art of Visual Merchandising (VM), Typography, Graphics, Exhibition Design and Colour Theory, Gwynneth now combines her pre-computer studies and visual expertise in ways that only a person with hands on practical experience can. Before computers dominated the creative industry she worked with Sportsgirl, Katies and Myer as a fashion window dresser and interior design visual merchandiser. Moving back home to Perth, Western Australia from the Gold Coast, Queensland in 1992, Gwynneth took up studying at TAFE’s design annex in Subiaco. She completed two year’s extensive study in the proficiencies of electronic publishing during which time she established gDesign in 1997 as part of a class assignment and graduated in 1998.
